Trade Training Centres

The program has closed for new applications.

Essentially, the Commonwealth Government provided funding for:

new or refurbished buildings;
trades equipment for the centres; and
a small amount for administration costs for the school authorities to assist with their administration of the TTC Program.

Twelve (12) South Australian Independent Schools received funding as per the list below:

Navigator College	Port Lincoln 5606	Navigator College Allied Health Trades Skills Centre will deliver qualifications in allied health and community services to address skills shortages in the occupations in local demand of allied health assistant, child care worker, family day carer, health care worker, health promotion officer, massage practitioner, nanny, nurse (enrolled), nursing support worker, orderly, paramedic, pharmacy assistant, teacher assistant and youth worker.
Unity College Inc	Murray Bridge 5253	Unity College Innovation Trades Skills Centre will deliver qualifications in engineering to address skills shortages in the trades of fitter (general), fitter and turner, fitter-welder, metal fabricator, metal machinist (first class) and sheetmetal trades worker.
Temple Christian College	Paralowie 5108	Temple Christian College Bethany Campus Trade Training Centre will deliver qualifications in food processing, electrotechnology and hospitality to address skills shortages in the trades of baker, butcher, cook, general electrician and pastry cook.
Portside Christian College	New Port 5015	Portside Christian College Trade Training Centre will deliver qualifications in agriculture, allied health and community services, to address skills shortages in agriculture and in occupations in local demand in child care and allied health.
Southern Vales Christian College – Aldinga Campus	Aldinga 5173	Southern Vales Christian College Hospitality Trade Training Centre will deliver qualifications in hospitality to address skills shortages in the trade of cook.
Islamic College of South Australia	West Croydon 5008	Islamic College of SA Printing Trade Training Centre will deliver qualifications in printing to address skills shortages in the trades of printing machinist and screen printer.
Emmaus Christian College Incorporated	South Plympton 5038	Emmaus Trade Training Centre will deliver qualifications in electrotechnology to address skills shortages in the trade of Electronic Equipment Trades Worker.
St George College	Mile End 5031	St George College Hospitality Trade Training Centre will deliver qualifications in hospitality to address skills shortages in the trades of cook and pastry cook.
Immanuel College	Novar Gardens 5040	Immanuel College Advanced Manufacturing Program Trade Training Centre will deliver qualifications in engineering to address skills shortages of general electrician, metal fabricator and metal machinist.
St Martins Lutheran College	Mount Gambier 5290	St Martin’s Lutheran College Trade Training Centre will deliver qualifications in cabinet making and engineering to address skills shortages in the trades of cabinetmaker, carpenter, carpenter and joiner and metal fabricator.
Trinity College Senior School	Evanston South 5116	Trinity College Trade Training Centre will deliver qualifications in engineering to address skills shortages in the trades of metal fitter, metal machinist, sheetmetal worker, toolmaker, and welder.
Investigator College	Currency Creek 5214	Investigator College Eco-Sustainability Trade Skills Centre includes the construction of a laboratory, nursery, wetland precinct including board walks, observation/collection pontoon and viewing stages. Qualifications in agriculture and horticulture will be delivered.
